RAMBAN, Apr 3: The Election Department Ramban, under District Election Officer Mussarat Islam, conducted a day-long training programme for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for the Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2023 at Banihal. The programme was organised under the supervision of Deputy District Election Officer Lal Chand. BLOs were informed about election-related activities before and during the SSR. Master trainers provided detailed information on the use of forms including form No. 6, 6b, 7 and 8 during the SSR. Two special camps will be held on April 9 and 15, 2023 to target eligible youth for registration. The publication of integrated draft electoral rolls will be on April 5 at EROs, AEROs and polling station levels. Claims and objections can be submitted from April 5 to April 20 and will be disposed of on April 28. Checking of health parameters and obtaining Commission permission for final publication and updating the database will be on May 4. The final publication of electoral rolls will be on May 10, 2023. |
