Mughals were looters, glorification pointless: Kavinder
'Farooq's love towards invaders out of communal tinge'

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 10: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Monday slammed NC leader Farooq Abdullah for batting strongly for invader Mughals.
In a statement issued to media persons, the senior BJP leader said that Farooq Abdullah's love towards Mughals shows his soft corner just because of the religion of the invader clan that came to India with the sole purpose to loot its resources.
Endorsing the stand taken by the concerned authorities to cut short the portion of syllabus describing the unnecessary magnanimity and prominence of Mughals from textbooks in the country, the BJP stalwart leader said that the Mughals were the looters and hence they don't deserve any glorification. He said that the decision to cut to size the role of these unethical invaders in the books being taught to the youth of the country is quite imperative as the existing syllabus was deliberately designed to keep the Indians under invincible pressure of slave mindset.
Kavinder said that Dr Farooq Abdullah is welcome to live with his slave mentality always engrossed with things which actually were not part of Indian culture like killing near and dear ones for the sake of the throne. He said that the historians of the modern times should be given an open atmosphere to decide without any pressure what is right and what not for the pupils and researchers to know about the past of the country. "The country will not decide such significant matters on the basis of communal tones and individual point of view", he maintained.
