| Rains lash plains, higher reaches receive snowfall in J&K | | |

SRINAGAR, Apr 19: Moderate to heavy rains lashed plains of Jammu and Kashmir while upper reaches experienced a fresh snowfall resulting in drop in the temperature on Wednesday, officials said.
The Meteorological Department predicted intermittent light to moderate rain at most places of Kashmir & at scattered places of Jammu today with significant decrease from today evening.
It said intermittent light to moderate rain at scattered places can occur from April 20-22 and thereafter the weather mainly will remain dry till April 25.
