| JSS Jammu celebrates Eid | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 20: April 20, 2023 Eid, the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood, love and secularism, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of the School. Through their performances, the middle wing students threw light on significance of Eid, including a melodious group song on Eid. The spirit of Eid was well imbibed by the students. The dance performance by the students of the primary wing on the tunes of Qawwali filled the environment with happiness and love.
The celebration began with welcome address followed by an 'Azaan' invoking the blessings of GOD. There was also an informative talk on the importance of Eid by the student from senior wing who emphasised the importance of humanity and universal brotherhood. Rohini Aima the Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school addressed the students and apprised them about the customs and practices of Eid. She also envisioned Eid as a celebration and as a means of self-control and self-diagnosis |
