Raman Suri remembers sacrifices of RR, describes Poonch attack as 'cowardice act'

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 21: Expressing his shock over the militant attack on army truck at Village Bhatta Durrian in Mendhar area of Poonch district in which five soldiers were martyred and another one seriously injured, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that the days of militants are numbered and this residual lot is trying to show its presence in a cowardice manner by targeting soldiers in isolated areas, especially where they can hide and escape after the attack. Despite that, these terrorists will be hunt down by our valiant soldiers and punished.
Raman Suri expressed his condolences with the brave hearts and said that the entire nation stands with the bereaved families. The sacrifice of these soldiers will not go waste, he said, adding that these brave hearts will be remembered for ages to come for protecting our borders and laying down their lives for the nation in Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir. This loss is irreparable for the families of martyrs but the entire nation is with them in this hour of grief.
The BJP leader said, soldiers in close coordination with police and other paramilitary forces are already on the hunt to eliminate those involved in Dangri massacre and none will be spared. He said, those trying to revive militancy are living in a fool's paradise. Terrorists as well as their mentors or sympathisers, who are providing them space to hide, will all be hunt down as the Union Government as well as UT administration has resolved to wipe out militancy from its roots and provide people an atmosphere of peace and progress in the UT.
The frustration on the part of militants can be gauged from the fact that they struck the army truck from behind the bushes and that too in hostile weather conditions. They took advantage of bad weather condition and escaped but they surely will be chased in no time and this attack will be avenged appropriately.
The Rashtriya Rifles, Raman Suri said, has contributed a lot in saving lives in Jammu and Kashmir and protecting borders by sacrificing their lives. This sacrifice of the soldiers of RR is another debt on the nation which can never be forgotten, he said, adding that this is an established fact that the government is committed to wipe out militancy completely and those adventuring into this will be finished in no time. The entire world stands against terrorism and those trying to revive militancy will not be spared.
