JAMMU, Apr 21: To observe the World Earth Day & to promote the Traditional Duggar Culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented 356th Friday Series Musical Play "BUTE LAO DHARTI GI BACHAO" in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art production at Durga Bhawan, Janipur Jammu on the theme of this year " Invest in our Planet, Protect our Future", to draw the attention of the masses for environmental protection, nature and the planet Earth. The Program was inaugurated by V.K. Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India & Dr.Anju Dogra, Govt. Health Department, Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir and Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director ,J&K Health Department, Mukesh Singh, Media Person Jammu were the Guest Of Honor. The day commemorated as "World Earth Day 2023 " as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in through general awareness items. Especially prepared on the theme like "Pead Bacho Desh Bachao ", "Jal Hi Jeevan Jeevan Hi Jal Hai", "Hariyali laye prithvi bachaen", "Hara bhra ho sansaar humara, sundar sundar pyara pyara", "Ao nav freh sarishti bachache lae bute pani bachache pardushan gi samooh nasache". The Skits , Nukkad Natak and Dances were presented to aware the masses on the burning topic of the day. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective through the children of Music, theatre and computer institutions as part of celebrations of the 53rd Global Earth day. The annual celebration honoring the achievements of the environmental movement and raising awareness of the importance of long-term ecological sustainability. Go green, breathe clean. Stop polluting the environment. Save our planet. Think before you trash it. The Songs on this theme were also uploaded online on Social Media for the benefit of the peoples.
The cultural program especially songs & dances are directed and produced by Dr.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS and he said this day we all celebrated every year on April, 22nd to create global awareness to protect nature and the planet Earth. This year's theme is " Invest in our Planet, Protect our Future", encouraging individuals, businesses and governments to invest in technologies and practices that can benefit the earth. Through regulations, incentives and public or private partnerships, governments hold the keys to transform and build the green economy. This special day is celebrated to aware people of how they can be an asset in saving the Earth from pollution, global warming, water scarcity and other crisis. All the renowned artistes and students took a solemn pledge on the occasion to eradicate social evils & to foster National unity. The singers , musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical concert were Usha Raina, M.C.Kotwal , Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Chahat Chadha , Sudesh Devi , Sanjeev Kumar , Sudesh Devi, Naiya Meenia, Renu Bala and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program
