Road leading to Katloo in shambles, residents urge LG Sinha to intervene | | | Early Times Report
Anantnag, Apr 25: Residents of Katoo Anantnag on Tuesday appealed to the LG administration to repair the road leading to their village. A student while talking to Early Times said, “We never reach school on time as the road leading to our village is in a dilapidated condition. It’s affecting our education also. We request LG Sahib to intervene and direct the concerned officials to repair this road.” “In case of emergency we are unable to take patients to a hospital on time,” residents said. They said, “For the past 40-years we have been demanding road and healthcare facilities. But no one has paid any heed towards our village.” “We have visited every department but we were ignored. We urge Lieutenant Governor to intervene and mitigate our sufferings,” they said, adding, “We have to take our children to the main road, which is one kilometer from our village, to make them board a school bus. The road to our village is not in a motorable condition.” |
