Hum Nahi Sudhray Gai: Amid civil war Pak, Bilawal Bhutto again rakes up Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 12: Amid ongoing civil war in his country, Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Zardari Bhutto shamelessly raked up the Kashmir issue and assured support to terrorism in the Valley. When his country was burning after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto was meeting with separatist leaders of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir to fuel violence and bloodshed in Kashmir. “Received today a delegation of the local chapter of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. Spoke of Pakistan's steadfast support to the Kashmir Cause. Saluted the courage and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination”, Bilawal Bhutto shamelessly tweeted amid violence and arson in almost all parts of Pakistan. “Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral, and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir”, he said and added that the international community should take notice of the human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, which is under the illegal occupation of India. Important to mention here that during the Goa summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) external affairs minister S Jaishankar dubbed Bilawal Bhutto as a “justifier and spokesperson of a terrorism industry”. Jaishankar said India will counter and delegitimize cross-border terrorism and call out Pakistan’s backing for it. He lashed out at Bhutto Zardari’s efforts to link the resumption of dialogue to the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, saying the only issue up for discussion would be Islamabad’s vacation of Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir. “As a foreign minister of an SCO member state, Bhutto Zardari was treated accordingly. As a promoter, justifier, and I’m sorry to say, spokesperson of a terrorism industry which is the mainstay of Pakistan, his positions were called out and they were countered, including at the SCO meeting itself,” a visibly aggressive Jaishankar told a news conference at the conclusion of the multilateral meet last week. Victims and perpetrators of terror don’t sit together to discuss the issue, Jaishankar said while asserting India’s right to defend, counter, call out, and delegitimize acts of terrorism. “That is exactly what is happening. So, to come here and preach these hypocritical words as though we are on the same boat – I mean they are committing acts of terrorism,” he said. |
