Early Times Report

Jammu, May 14: After recent terror attacks in Poonch and Rajouri, residents living near the Line of Control (LoC) tried to tune in to local radio stations to get authentic information but of no vain as only Pakistani FM stations were available in this border belt.
To step up the psychological war in border belts and spread its vicious propaganda, Pakistan has already set up over a dozen FM stations, which are spitting venom against India.
“It appears that Pakistan authorities have boosted transmitting power of its radio stations set-up in different parts, especially during border build-up as psychological warfare mean”, residents living near LoC said.
People admitted that Pakistani radio stations' signals of Pakistani radio stations available round the clock in this belt. It is very difficult for us to tune in to local radio stations.
Sources said that As part of the strategy Pakistan has installed modern transmitters in the border areas so as to target Indian villages.
Prasar Bharat is not in a position to compare with Pakistan as far as equipment are concerned”.
As reported Pakistan has setup at least 15 FM stations working round the clock to hurl choicest invectives.
Even some underground and pro-terrorist radio stations are also operating on the other side of the border with their thumping reception in Poonch, Rajouri, Nowshera, R.S Pura, and some parts of Jammu city.
A study revealed that Pakistani Radio Stations – FM 101 Sialkot, Mast FM 103 Gujranwala, Radio Buraq Sialkot, Voice of Kashmir 95.8, Radio Swat Network 100 FM, and Radio Buraq FM 104-105 MHz, Peshawar – that are clearly heard in the Jammu division spitting venom against India.
The venom against India aired through broadcasts is wrapped with Bollywood and Punjabi music to befool and brainwash listeners in J&K, who mistook them for Indian Stations.
