UDHAMPUR, May 17: The Department of Floriculture, Udhampur organized an awareness camp at Panchayat Sira-A, Block Chenani in Udhampur district. The camp aimed to educate farmers about various schemes offered by the department.
During the program, the Assistant Floriculture Officer provided valuable information on the cultivation of cash crops like Marigold and Lavender. Farmers were equipped with technical know-how and guidance on these crops.
Makhan Manhas, the Sarpanch of Panchayat Sira-A, expressed gratitude to the department's officers and officials for organizing the awareness camp. The camp saw the active participation of Sarpanchs, Panches, farmers, and members of the general public from the area. |
