| School having 200 students operates from 2 rooms | | |

Rajouri, May 17: A Government Middle School at Kotranaka, Budhal in Rajouri district having 200 students on rolls is operating from two rooms.
This school was established in 1970 as a primary school. It was upgraded as a middle school in 2010. “The up gradation took place only on papers. No new infrastructure was added. The students for the past so many years have been studying under an open sky,” local residents said.
They appealed to the Rajouri administration to improve the facilities in the school and enhance its infrastructure. “It’s difficult for 200 children to study in two rooms and under an open sky,” they added. |
