UDHAMPUR, June 8: The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee at Govt. Degree College Ramnagar organized an impactful awareness program on the theme "Effects of Drug Abuse on Society." Led by Principal Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, the event aimed to enlighten students about the detrimental consequences of drug abuse on individuals and the community as a whole. Students from various disciplines attended the program with great enthusiasm. Prof. Naveed Hassan Chowdhary, Head of Geology Department, shed light on the physical, psychological, and social impacts of substance misuse. He emphasized the long-lasting implications it can have on individuals' health, relationships, academic performance, and overall quality of life. The program provided an interactive platform for students to ask questions, express concerns, and share their experiences. Dr. Mohd Riaz, Coordinator of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee, efficiently coordinated the entire program. Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed, Head of Management Department, delivered a formal vote of thanks, concluding the informative and thought-provoking awareness program.
