| NTA makes mockery of CUET date sheet | | Students asked to reach from Bathindi to Jalandhar in 1-hour | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: Date sheet issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) has put the students in a tight spot.
A student while talking to a local news channel said, “I have to appear for two papers in one day. I have to appear for the first paper at Bathindi in Jammu which will get over by 10:30 am. For another paper I have to rush to Jalandhar in Punjab as the paper would commence at 12:00 pm. How can I reach from Bathindi to Jalandhar in one hour.”
He said, “Even if I have a private chopper of my own, I won’t be able to appear for both the papers as it’s impossible to reach from Jammu to Jalandhar within one hour.”
Many other students were of the opinion that NTA is playing with their careers by complicating the simple process of conducting an entrance test. They urged the authorities to intervene and get the date sheet revised. |
