Early Times Report BHADARWAH, June 8: The seven-day NSS special survey camp on "National Survey of Youth, Not in Formal Education and Regular Employment" organized by the NSS Unit of GDC Bhaderwah concluded on Wednesday. The camp, held under the supervision of NSS Wing, University of Jammu, aimed to gather firsthand information about youth aged 15 to 29 who lack access to formal education and regular employment. As part of the survey, around a hundred forms provided by the NSS Wing of Jammu University were filled by enthusiastic volunteers from the college's second and fourth semesters. The adopted village Nalthi became the focus of the survey, with the volunteers divided into 15 groups. They conducted door-to-door visits, gathering responses and filling out the forms. The dedication and passion displayed by the volunteers in carrying out the survey were highly appreciated by Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, the Principal of the College. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, the NSS Program Officer, along with other staff members, including Prof. Bhekam Pal Singh, Prof. Mohd Yaseen Sirwal, Dr. Nazar Ul Islam, Prof. Renuka Gouria, and Prof. Sanjay Kumar, compiled and executed the program successfully. |
