Early Times Report JAMMU, June 17: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized a session on "Campus to Corporate: Corporate expectations and attitude training" for the pre-final and final year students of YCET. The session aimed to transform young talent into future leaders and enhance employee satisfaction while reducing turnover. The event began with a welcome address by Er. Rajneesh Magotra, HOD Civil Department, YCET, followed by an introduction of the resource person, Er. Nidhi Jamwal. Er. Nidhi, Chief Coordinator at IMS and an expert in HR and Marketing, provided valuable insights on various topics. She discussed the importance of resumes and shared tips on creating an impressive resume that stands out among competitors. Additionally, she highlighted key characteristics expected by the industry, such as commitment, loyalty, self-assurance, and teamwork. Emphasizing the significance of communication skills, Er. Nidhi stressed the importance of effective communication within a team, beyond just English language proficiency. She encouraged students to develop leadership skills and cultivate a deep understanding of how leaders interact with their teams to achieve success. Furthermore, she motivated students to broaden their horizons by taking courses outside their regular curriculum to enhance their skills and increase their marketability. The students expressed gratitude for the opportunity to attend the session and gain knowledge and insights from the expert. The organizers received high praise for their efforts in successfully organizing the session. The vote of thanks was delivered by Er.
