| GDC RS Pura celebrates International Yoga Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 17: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College R.S. Pura organized a Poster Making/Slogan Writing Competition as part of the ongoing celebration of International Yoga Day 2023. The theme of the competition was "Humanity." Under the patronage of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Rajni Bhagat, and the supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer, approximately 30 students participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm. They created informative and meaningful posters and slogans.
Jagdish Kumar, a student of Semester II, secured the 1st position in the competition. Sakshi Kumari and Rahul Kumar, both from Semester VI, shared the 2nd position, while Madhu Sharma, also from Semester VI, secured the 3rd position. The Principal of the college expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the NSS unit and commended the students for actively participating in such activities that promote a better understanding of a healthy lifestyle. |
