Free multispecialty medical camp organized by Kishtwar administration | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 17: The District Hospital Kishtwar, in collaboration with the District Administration, organized a day-long Free Multispecialty Medical Camp at the hospital premises today. The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav in the presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Medical Superintendent Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, and other dignitaries. Over 500 patients received free consultation from specialists including Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma (Hepatologist & Gastroenterologist), Dr. Neeraj Gupta (Cardiologist), and Dr. Ranjeet Rathore (Urologist). Free medicines were provided to the patients, and they were also offered free laboratory tests, ultrasounds, ECGs, X-rays, and 20 echocardiograms. During the camp, the Deputy Commissioner had the opportunity to interact with the Medical Superintendent and the consulting team, gaining valuable insights into the healthcare facilities available to the patients. The public expressed their appreciation to the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar for organizing such a large-scale camp for the benefit of poor and needy patients who cannot afford to travel to Jammu or Srinagar for medical check-ups or follow-ups. They requested that such camps be held regularly to assist patients from Kishtwar District and neighboring areas. The Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar expressed the hope of continuing such camps in the future, considering the overwhelming response from the public. |
