JAMMU, July 9: Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Minister of State and Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, participated as the chief guest in the Award Ceremony of the Global Human Rights Trust. The felicitation event, held in Katra, honored distinguished individuals with awards named after Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, recognizing their inspiring contributions in various fields.
During her address, Dr. Andrabi praised the awardees for their remarkable contributions and emphasized the importance of acknowledging and celebrating exceptional talent. She stated that under visionary leadership, India is achieving unprecedented success across all sectors, with talents being recognized globally. She further highlighted the progress of J&K after the end of separatism and violence, stating that the region is progressing at an exceptional pace, attracting attention from around the world.
