SKK Divyang students excel in 11th class exam | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 10: The School for Hearing Handicapped, run by the J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Jammu (SKK) has once again registered cent percent result of the 11th class. The J&K Board of School Education has announced result of 11th class today. Out of 14 deaf & dumb students appeared in the 11th class examination, two have got distinction, elevan got first division & one second division. Fozia Shamsh with 75.4 per cent marks topped the School. Sonam Chib is the second Distinction holder of the school securing 74.47 per cent marks. For the last eight years, the divyang students of the School are getting cent percent result in all BOSE examinationd for 8th class, 10th, 11th & 12th class. The President K B Jandial & members of Governing Committee have congratulated the students, their parents, Principal & the teachers for such a brilliant performance at the examination. The SKK is providing free education to deaf & dumb students from class 1st to 12th. It also provides free uniform including blazers & sweaters besides text books & stationery. The School has the blessings of Lt Governor Shri Manoj Sinha who has specially sanctioned an annual grant of Rs 5 lakh for three years. The members of the SKK & civil society too have contributed Rs 5.40 lakh last year including one lakh by a charitable Trust. |
