Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 10: Former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vikram Randhawa said that Narendra Modi led Central Government is committed to mitigate the suffering of the people.
He made these remarks while inaugurating much-awaited construction work of Sunjwan-Chatta road in Bahu Assembly Segment.
Former Legislator informed that the road will be constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore.
On the occasion, Tailb Hussain Panch, Raman Sharma, Gulshan Sharma, Amit Gupta, Mohd Hussain, Lal Din, Mohinder Sharma, Noor Hussain, Sadiq Hussain, Sehar Ali, Pappy Hussain and many others were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the residents apprised Former Legislator about the problems being faced by them due to non availability of direct road connectivity to their area.
"We are facing manifold problems due to non availability of direct road connectivity to our area. We have to cover a long distance to reach our area" the residents said and had demanded construction of road at the earliest.
Former Legislator took up the issue with the concerned authorities and today the construction work of the road has been started, which will provide relief to the people, who were facing manifold problems due to non-availability of road.
"Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working on the theme of 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas' and is committed for the overall development of Jammu", Randhawa said, adding that no area will remain deprived of basic amenities and development of every citizen is their main motto.
"Public outreach programme has been launched by me to reach every nook and corner to listen and redress the grievances of the people", Randhawa said.
"BJP is working to mitigate problems of the people and give them respite from miseries which they are facing in the last over seventy years", he said, adding that central dispensation has provided surplus funds for the development works across the Union Territory and that is the reason behind irresistible development trail going on in Jammu and Kashmir.
"In the past 9 years, Modi led Central Government has carried out various development works under the slogans 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas' and has remained popular Government as no relief had been provided to the people in the last 70 years by the previous regimes", Randhawa maintained.
On the occasion, the people extended their full support to BJP in the forthcoming elections.
