JAMMU, Aug 13: Jodhamal Public School hosted a spectacular event, "Magnifique Création '23," which featured an exhibition of innovative projects spanning across Science, Geography, Social Science, and various other subjects. The grand inauguration of the exhibition was graced by S M Sahni, Convener of INTACH Jammu Chapter, as the chief guest, and Zaffar Ullah Khan, State Coordinator of National Children Science Congress, as the Guest of Honour.
The Outdoor Amphitheatre (OAT), transformed into a bustling hub of scientific exploration, attracted numerous parents and students alike. The creativity and novel ideas showcased by the students captivated visitors, leaving them awestruck.
Among the highlights of the exhibition were the working models that ignited curiosity and garnered the most attention. These models included a functional human heart, wireless charging technology, Newton's Three Laws of Motion, water purification systems, steam engines, DC and AC generators, illustrations of alternate energy sources like hydro and windmills, electrolysis of water, solar energy conversion from Hydrogen to Helium, a plant cell model, functioning volcanoes, airplane prototypes, lemon-powered electricity generation, seismographs, Smart City projects, drip irrigation systems, high voltage plasma levitation, Tesla coils, saltwater electricity generation, and Thomson's Experiment, among others.
The exhibition was accessible for two more days, allowing all students to visit and draw inspiration from the displayed projects. Magnifique Création '23 aimed to nurture students' creativity and motivate them to create models or prototypes with potential social utility. More than 300 projects, crafted by students ranging from Classes VII to XII, were showcased and demonstrated under the guidance of dedicated teachers.
The teacher-mentors, including Aashima, Emon, Rimjhim, and other members of the Science, Social Science, and Art and Craft Departments, played an instrumental role in guiding and supporting the students throughout the exhibition's preparation.
The chief guest and Guest of Honour commended both the students and their teachers for fostering a scientific temperament among the students. Parents who attended Magnifique Création '23 were thoroughly impressed by the students' exceptional creativity.
In essence, Jodhamal Public School's Magnifique Création '23 served as a platform to celebrate innovative thinking, encourage scientific exploration, and applaud the remarkable ingenuity displayed by young minds.
