8/26/2023 10:07:34 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 26: The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is set to launch Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an ambitious awareness and outreach program, which will be conducted simultaneously across three different venues in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on August 28, 2023. The program is designed to provide stakeholders with easy access to information and services, facilitating effective service delivery. The event will be held at DC Office in Samba, Khyber Industries in Khunmoh, Srinagar, and Sindh Public School in Sheynam, Leh.
This initiative, organized in partnership with District Administrations, aims to bring the EPFO closer to the stakeholders and foster a platform for discussion, query resolution, and information exchange. The program will focus on enlightening employers and employees about social security provisions, grievance filing procedures (including EPFiGMS and CPGRAMS), digital services (such as UMANG and Digi Locker), awareness and fraud prevention, and the rights of employees concerning employers.
Rizwan Uddin, the P. F. Commissioner, emphasized the importance of participation from subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees' representatives, and industrial chambers. District Nodal Officers, including Shri Bipin Kumar for Samba, Shri Suhail Khan for Srinagar, and Shri Pawan Kumar for Leh, will lead the programs in their respective areas.
The sessions will address the issues and challenges organizations face while implementing the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Attendees will receive guidance on various aspects, such as member enrollment, UAN activation, online claim filing, e-nominations, and more.
EPFO, Jammu is dedicated to hearing suggestions, inputs, and grievances during the Nidhi Aapke Nikat program. The organization has expanded its services to provide enhanced benefits under the Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995, and increased quantum (up to Rupees Seven Lakhs) for the Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976.
With Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, EPFO aims to empower stakeholders with knowledge, streamline services, and foster a collaborative approach towards social security provisions. The program's multi-location setup underscores EPFO's commitment to the welfare of employees and employers in the region.
