| GDC Mahanpur organizes activities for UT Foundation Day | | |  Early Times Report
MAHANPUR, Oct 27: Government Degree College (GDC) Mahanpur organized various activities on October 25, 2023, as part of the Union Territory Foundation Day celebration. The event was held under the patronage of the college's Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan. The activities included an "Essay Writing Competition on the theme Badalta Jammu and Kashmir," where 20 students participated and expressed their views on the new developmental era of Jammu and Kashmir. The competition was supervised by Prof. Suman and judged by Dr. Balbinder Singh and Prof. Arvind Kumar.Another event was a painting competition in which 10 students participated and created creative and beautiful paintings depicting the historical perspective of Jammu and Kashmir.
Several staff members were present during the event, including Prof. Meena Devi (PO NSS), Dr. Sapna Devi, Dr. Parshotam Dass, Saurabh Dutta, and non-teaching staff. The event aimed to celebrate the positive changes in Jammu and Kashmir since its transition to a Union Territory. |
