NEW DELHI, Oct 27: On the 28th of October, 2023, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will virtually distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits as part of the Rozgar Mela. During this event, the Prime Minister will also address the appointees.
The Rozgar Mela is set to be held at 37 locations throughout the country, and the recruitment process is taking place in both Central Government Departments and State Governments/Union Territories that support this initiative. Newly selected appointees from various parts of the country will be joining the government in different Ministries and Departments, including the Ministry of Railways, the Department of Posts, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Department of School Education and Literacy, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others.
This Rozgar Mela is in line with Prime Minister Modi's commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst for further employment opportunities, providing meaningful chances for the youth to empower themselves and participate in national development.
