| 15 grams of heroin recovered by Police Bagh-e-Bahu one peddler arrested | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 8: Continuing it's drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 15 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PS Bagh-E-Bahu.
A police team of PS Bagh-E-Bahu led by SDPO East Parupkar Singh assisted by SHO PS Bagh-E-Bahu Inspr Arti Thakur and PSI Wasim Bhatti while on naka duty at Kalka colony rounded up a suspect who was coming from Gujjar Nagar side. On search, 15 grams of heroin was recovered from him.
In this regard a case FIR No. 97/2023 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act got registered in PS Bagh-E-Bahu and accused was arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as :- Vishal Kumar @ Kagla S/o Manhat Ram R/o Rajiv Nagar Narwal Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
