| LG honours para-archers Sheetal Devi, Rakesh Kumar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 8: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in an event held at Raj Bhawan today, presented the Certificate of Excellence to Para Archers Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar, along with their coach Abhilasha Choudhary. Also present at the occasion were Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor, and Sh. Anshul Garg, CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
During the interaction with these para archers, the Lt Governor commended their remarkable performance at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China. He praised them for being a source of inspiration for the youth and for bringing glory to the nation. The Lt Governor believes that the exceptional abilities and determination exhibited by Sheetal and Rakesh will help foster a strong sports culture in Jammu & Kashmir.
Additionally, the Lt Governor expressed his appreciation for the concerted efforts of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, coaches, and support staff of the Academy for their significant contributions to the promotion of sports in the Union Territory. |
