Jammu, Dec 11: The Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar, proudly participated in the 'Mahotsav 2023 - Jammu Kashmir Ladakh' Cultural Event, organized by LEAD-LJK (Ladakh, Jammu, Kashmir) Economic Growth and Development Dialogue. The college, under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol, made a significant mark with a captivating dance performance that showcased the traditional Dogri Folk dance known as 'Jagran.'
Held at Gulshan Ground, the cultural extravaganza brought together various elements of the rich cultural heritage of the region. The students' performance highlighted the essence of 'Jagran,' a traditional Dogri dance often performed during wedding celebrations and deeply ingrained in the cultural fabric of the community.
The college students' dedication and skill were met with acclaim as they were honored with certificates and a memento by the event's organizers.

Dr. Meeru Abrol, Principal of the Government College for Women, commended the students for their exceptional presentation.
