KISHTWAR, Dec 15: In a bid to improve traffic safety and enforcement, the Kishtwar District Police have launched "Operation 3rd Eye" and successfully challaned 28 violators for various traffic offenses in Kishtwar town today.
Targeted Violations: The challaned vehicles were found engaging in wrong parking, riding without helmets, and overloading.
Technology-Driven Approach: Utilizing CCTV surveillance cameras and number plate reading systems, the police efficiently identified and tracked down the violators. Direct Delivery of Challans: Instead of traditional on-site challans, copies of the violations along with pictures were sent directly to the residential addresses of the vehicle owners.
