Early Times Report REASI, Dec 15: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a transformative journey aimed at fostering development and promoting government initiatives, has made significant strides as it reached five panchayats Dhanour, Thakrakote, Bogadas, Arbais, Marhi A in the Reasi district today. The initiative has been a collaborative effort involving various line departments, local artisans, and enthusiastic students. As part of the Yatra, a series of engaging activities were organized through the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van to raise awareness about government schemes. Line departments actively participated, offering on-the-spot online services to the community. Additionally, free medical checkup camps were set up, providing essential healthcare services and distributing free medicines. The community had the opportunity to hear messages from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir. To further disseminate information, pamphlets outlining different government schemes were distributed among the residents. Cultural programs, featuring local artisans, added a vibrant touch to the initiative, while students showcased their knowledge through on-the-spot quiz activities. The event also saw the community coming together to take the Sankalp pledge, reaffirming their dedication to the progress of the region. |
