Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: In recognition of their outstanding efforts and commendable professional discharge of duty, the Cyber Police Officers/Officials in Jammu Zone were honored by the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Anand Jain, IPS. The accolades were specifically given for the team's swift action in refunding a substantial amount of Rs. 22,65,000 to victims of cyber fraud in various complaints, enquiries, and FIRs throughout the year 2023. The Cyber Police Station in Jammu, Jammu Zone, showcased their prowess by invoking provisions of the Information Technology Act (IT Act) and the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) to secure refunds for defrauded individuals. The successful recovery of funds reflects the team's dedication and expertise in combatting different types of bank fraud cases. The ADGP, Shri Anand Jain, expressed his appreciation by presenting Commendation Certificates and cash rewards to the Cyber team during a felicitation ceremony.
