Kashmiri displaced people wing J&K DPAP leaders demand rights in exile

Jammu, Jan 8: The KDP Wing of DPAP Leaders in a joint statement issued through Shri Sanjay Dhar, President, Sh. Piaray Lal Pandita, Chairman, Shri Raj Kumar Ticku, General Secretary, have demanded the following be favoured to the exiled people by the Govt. of India as well as by the U.T. Government at an earliest being the exiled people A class Citizens of India,/ The employment package to the tune of balance 9000,out of 15000 recommended by the Parliamentary Committee, headed by Sushma Swaraj, Chairman, during 2008-09. Balance ex-gratia of gutted houses against assessment of loss valued by competent Authorities, including compensation of damaged properties, orchards, agriculture land with compensation to traders of displaced people.Providing of transit accomodation to six thousand PM Package employees with vacation of accommodation occupied by Forces, Panches, BDC'S, and other non PM Package employees, and a special rent to those employees who are not provided transit accomodation.
Creation of two Police Battalions specially for Kashmiri Hindu Exiled and for the youth still living in Valley, with relaxation of all prescribed norms. Grant of compensation to Traders, overaged educated youth, stipend to unemployed youth highly educated. Issuance of formal appointment orders of selected 120 candidates class fourth, verifications conducted since, the file reportedly pending since last one and a half year. Handing over of Jagti Water Supply Scheme to Jal Shakti Department ordered by the Govt. during 2021. Sanction of Permanent Police Chowki in Migrant Camp Jagti, with deployment of at least fifteen police personnel in the Camp for ensuring proper safety of the camp inmates. Exemption of Bio Meteric Attendances for PM Package employees in Valley till restoration of normalcy in view of security scenario. Improvement of civic issues in all Camps, including renovation, repairs, maintenance of lanes, drains, parks.
