CGPWA organizes educational lecture by former DGP Kuldeep Khoda for destitute students at BALGRAN

Jammu, Jan 21: The Central Govt Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Jammu (CGPWA), as part of its commitment to enhancing student knowledge, hosted a lecture by former DGP & CVC, J&K, Kuldeep Khoda at BALGRAN, Home for Destitute Children. Khoda, who is also the President of CGPWA, spoke passionately about ethics in educational institutions, providing valuable tips to students to excel in studies and extra-curricular activities.
Khoda emphasized the importance of developing aspirations to become professionals with role models, citing hard work as the key to success. He cautioned students against distractions and temptations, urging them to adhere to universal principles and ideals of being a good human being. Khoda highlighted the correlation between being a disciplined, hardworking student and evolving into a responsible citizen.
In his address, Khoda advised students to respect laws and rules, stressing the urgent need for ecological preservation and environmental responsibility.
He called for collective efforts to combat adverse climatic conditions by increasing green cover and underscored the importance of following traffic rules.
During an interactive session, Khoda provided valuable insights on cracking examinations, especially competitive ones.
He urged students to focus on their subjects, acquire in-depth knowledge, and emphasized the importance of effective communication and self-confidence.
The Secretary of BALGRAN, Prof. R D Sharma, expressed gratitude to CGPWA and Khoda for this commendable initiative to uplift the knowledge of destitute students. The event was attended by dignitaries including President of BALGRAN, V K Raina, General Secretary, CGPWA, K B Jandial, Patron BALGRAN, Prem Gupta IPS (retd), S D Swatantra IFS (retd), and Subash Sharma IFS (Retd). CGPWA, Jammu, continues its commitment to arranging educational lectures and interactions for students, with former Chief Secretary and State Election Commissioner, B R Sharma, scheduled to deliver the next lecture in this series.
