Early Times Report RS PURA, Jan 23: GDC R. S. Pura paid homage to the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of "Parakram Diwas," observed annually on January 23 to mark his birth anniversary. The event aimed to celebrate the indomitable spirit, sacrifice, and revolutionary ideas of Netaji, inspiring the youth to emulate his virtues. Under the banner of Viksit Bharat @2047, the Viksit Bharat Club, NSS, and NCC jointly organized a seminar to delve into the life and contributions of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The initiative was part of a series of events aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism and selfless service among the youth. Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, Nodal Officer Viksit Bharat, presided over the event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. The welcome address and an introductory speech on Netaji's life were delivered by Dr. Chanchal Angral (NSS PO). The seminar presentations by Amit Digra, Ayush Kumar, and Suresh Mehra of semester 1st earned them the first, second, and third positions, respectively. Dr. Rajni Bhagat, the esteemed Principal of the college, highlighted Netaji's daring and rebellious nature, emphasizing his crucial role in leading the Indian National Army to free the country from British rule. She stressed that Netaji's teachings continue to inspire generations, and his ideas are immortal. Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, the Nodal Officer Viksit Bharat, coordinated the event, while Dr. Rakesh Choudhary, ANO NCC boys, presented the formal vote of thanks. The faculty members present at the occasion included Dr. Rajinder Sharma, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Dr. Rakesh Kalotra, Dr. Renu Sharma, Prof. Dipika, and Dr. Hari Singh. The seminar served as a platform to instill a sense of national pride, fortitude, and love for the nation among the students, encouraging them to carry forward the legacy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. |
