Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 23: Riyaz Ahmed, a resident of Solaki and a driver by profession, who was allegedly brutally beaten by his former employers on Monday has revealed shocking details of the assault and subsequent threats he faced.
While talking to Early Times, Ahmed said, “I am a single breadwinner with two children. I had been working with his former employers for four years, but left the job four years ago due to unpaid salary for one and a half months.”
Ahmed, who is now working as a bus driver, recounted the horrifying incident where he was reportedly caught by his former employers. He stated, "I was caught by my former employers, and they dumped me in a Scorpio. First, they beat me up at Kunjwani and then again in Narwal with hockey sticks and fan belts of the vehicles."
The assault reportedly lasted for about one and a half hours, during which Ahmed sustained severe injuries, including a fractured arm.
What makes the situation more alarming is Ahmed's claim that he was threatened with dire consequences if he spoke up

bout the incidents. He revealed, "After beating me, they threatened me, saying they have already committed 25 murders, and the 26th would be my turn if I disclosed anything." In a shocking revelation, Ahmed also accused his former employers of involvement in bovine smuggling. He stated, "They are engaged in bovine smuggling, and this may be the reason for their brutality towards me." Ahmed expressed fear for his life and safety, given the threats he received.
“I was threatened that I would be killed if I opened my mouth. They wanted me to work for them again. I told them that I don’t want to be a part of their dirty business as I have a family to feed,” he said, adding, “I hope administration will do justice with me and the accused will be punished. I don’t want anyone to face what I have faced,” he added.
Meanwhile, Police have registered a FIR No. 18 under sections 342, 323 IPC at Police Station Bahu. One accused Nazratullah son of Sakhi Mohammad resident of Rajal Nowshera has been arrested, while the hunt for another accused Raman alias Ashu is on.
