GDC Ramgarh screened live telecast on India's Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 13: Government Degree College, Ramgarh today showed a live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address on India's Techade: Chips for Viksit Barat wherein he laid the foundation stone of three semi-conductor projects worth about 1.25 lakh crore via video conferencing at Dholera and Sanand in Gujarat and at Morigaon in Assam. This move is a part of the Centre's India Semiconductor Mission which aimed at creating an end to end semi conductor ecosystem to enable the country to lead the global semi-conductor industry. In his address Modi said that India's Techade signifies India's dedication to embracing the digital age to ensure the sustainable development, create new job opportunities to the youth, enhance quality of life, and establish a strong presence in the global technology landscape. The audience was marked by students from over 60,000 colleges, universities and educational institutes all over the India. All the faculty members and students of GDC Ramgarh attended the live telecast with great zeal and dedication. |
