Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 13: Government Degree College Vijaypur actively participated in the live telecast of 'India Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat' under the guidance of Principal Prof (Dr.) Vandana Gupta. Faculty members and students attended the live telecast with great enthusiasm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of three Semiconductor Projects during the program. Prime Minister Modi, in his virtual address, highlighted the significance of these projects in India's journey towards becoming a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing. He emphasized the importance of self-reliance and modernity through indigenous chip production, envisioning a brighter future for India. Over 100 college students participated in the program and shared their views after the live telecast. The event was coordinated by Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Prof. Poonam Kundan, Dr. Manoj Heer, and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, with additional support from other faculty members including Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Attied Khawar, Prof. Renuka Kundal, Prof. Mazid Malik, Dr. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Jan Mohd.
