JAMMU, Mar 13: Additionally, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu organized a lecture titled "Importance of Semiconductors in Today's Era" at the smart classroom of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Canal Road, Jammu. Prof. Inamul Haq Wani, Assistant Professor in Physics at Govt. MAM College Jammu, served as the resource person, discussing the significance of semiconductors in today's era. The lecture was attended by students from various streams and modes. Dr. Rajinder Singh, Principal of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, along with Dr. Jai Prakash Verma, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu, Assistant Regional Directors Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Dr. Vikram Singh, faculty members, and Academic Counsellors, graced the occasion.
Dr. Jai Prakash Verma, Regional Director, emphasized the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision to position India as a global hub for semiconductor facilities, which he believes will transform India into an economic powerhouse and generate employment opportunities for thousands of youngsters." |
