Annual Foundation Day celebrated

Jammu, Apr 28: The Annual Foundation Day of the Khatri & Arora Consortium resonated with exuberance and fervor as hundreds of individuals, accompanied by their families, participated in the joyous occasion. The bustling event took place at RM Public School Chowadi, Sainik Colony, where attendees gathered to commemorate the organization’s milestones and achievements.
The inauguration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the inaugural lamps, led by esteemed dignitaries including Advocate V.K. Grover, President of the Consortium, along with Vice-Presidents Adarsh Pandoh and Mrs. Vandana Maini, General Secretary Rajesh Pandoh, and Joint Secretary P.K. Talwar. Additionally, Chairman of RM Public School Rameshwar Mengi and Mrs. Rita Mengi contributed to the auspicious occasion by lighting the pious lamp.
The festivities unfolded with captivating cultural performances by talented artists from RM School, including Sandhya Thakur, Arjun, Sandeep, Vipul, Paramjeet, Keshav, Rahul, Sunny, and Ms. Sandeep Jamwal, captivating the audience with their artistic flair.
Joint Secretary cum Treasurer P.K. Talwar presented the Financial Statement of the Consortium, which garnered approval through a voice vote.
General Secretary Rajesh Pandoh recounted the organization’s annual performance since its inception in April 16, 2023, highlighting its growth from 18 initial members to a thriving community of 250 families actively engaged in its endeavors.
He also emphasized the Consortium’s social initiatives, including Executive Meetings, Flag Hoisting Ceremony on Independence Day, and a Free Medical Camp benefiting over 150 patients with medical consultation and free medicines.
Addressing the gathering, President Grover reaffirmed the Consortium’s apolitical and social nature, emphasizing its commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for growth and unity.
Drawing inspiration from the principles of prominent figures like Guru Nanak Dev, Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Vallabh Bhai Patel, and Bal Gangadhar Tilak, he underscored the importance of solidarity and collective progress, encapsulated in the motto “WE RISE-BY LIFTING OTHERS.”
The event concluded with a patriotic fervor as attendees joined in singing the National Anthem, encapsulating the spirit of unity and patriotism that characterized the celebration of the Consortium’s Annual Foundation Day.
