Early Times Report JAMMU, May 2: In anticipation of World Red Cross Day on May 8th, Red Cross Society Jammu has orchestrated a series of events spanning from April 29th to May 8th, 2024, with the aim of celebrating the principles upheld by the Red Cross Society. Under the esteemed Chairmanship of DC Jammu and ADC Jammu, a diverse array of activities has been curated, including Slogan Writing, Painting Competitions, Drug Abuse Awareness Drives, and Menstrual Health & Hygiene campaigns. One of the highlights of this initiative was an educational session on Menstrual Health & Hygiene, conducted by Dr. Suksham Sharma, a Consultant Gynecologist, at GGHSS Shastri Nagar. The lecture was designed to raise awareness among students on this crucial topic. A District Level Symposium and Slogan Writing Competition, themed "Keeping Humanity Alive," drew enthusiastic participation from 39 schools. Smt. Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was skillfully organized at GGHSS Shastri Nagar, under the adept guidance of Principal Smt. Anu Bhardwaj.
