Jammu, May 5: Goons forcibly ran away with an arrested person from Sarwal Police post here on Saturday evening.
According to the details available with Early Times the accused, Parth Khanna, was apprehended by police and taken to Sarwal Police Post for further investigations. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when a group of goons arrived at the Post and aggressively demanded Khanna's release. Police have registered a FIR and a hunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
Despite efforts by the police to maintain order and carry out necessary procedures, the situation became increasingly tense as the group persisted in their attempts to retrieve Khanna.
When contacted, Station House Officer Bakshi Nagar Police Station while talking to Early Times said, “We were taking the accused for a medical test. A group of 20 to 25 people attacked the police party and ran away with the accused.”
He said, “We have registered a FIR and a hunt has been launched to arrest the accused. We will get them soon.” |
