Early Times Report JAMMU, May 11: Cyber Cell of Jammu & Kashmir Police in District Jammu solved three separate online cyber crime complaints. A complaint was received regarding financial fraud of Rs.60,000.The complainant received a text message when the victim clicked on the message and opened the link , the fraudster after getting access of his mobile got debited an amount of Rs.60,000 from the account of complainant. One complaint was received regarding financial fraud of Rs.60,000 in which complainant saw a post on telegram about investment . The victim invested Rs 60,000.when the victim asked for return of amount ,the fraudster insisted for more investment . Later complainant come to know that its a fraud. A complaint of financial fraud of Rs 36700 in which victim lost his phone and unknown person broke the unlock pattern, changed password and made transactions into his account. During the investigation, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, acted swiftly and exhibited hectic efforts which ultimately led to put on hold an amount of Rs 1,48,500/- out of 1,56,700/ in these three separate online cyber crime complaints . Further investigation is underway. District Police Jammu, equipped with advanced technology and skilled personnel, remains at the forefront in the fight against cybercriminals. |
