| GDC RS Pura celebrates Mother’s Day | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, May 11: "A mother is she who can take the place of all other, but whose place no one else can take" Mother's Day is celebrated every year on second Sunday in the month of May and this year it happens to be on 12th May, 2024. Saluting the spirit of unwavering dedication of mothers towards their kids and family, NSS Unit in collaboration with Department of Zoology celebrated Mother's Day on 11 May, 2024. On this occasion many students devotedly spoke and expressed their gratitude, love, appreciation and acknowledgement towards their mother. Gursimar Kour, student of semester 4th dedicated a beautiful poem to her mother. A beautiful song was sung by NSS PO Dr. Chanchal Angral. She also motivated the students to respect the values imparted by their mothers and be thankful to them for their selfless and unconditional love and support. The programme was conducted under the able guidance by Worthy Principal of the college, Dr. Rajni Bhagat and under the supervision of Dr. Chanchal Angral NSS PO. The programme ended with the votes of thanks by Dr. Hari Singh Department of Zoology. Prof. Shifali Abrol and Ms. Komika of Department of Zoology were instrumental in making the event successful. |
