Adv Suresh Dogra, urges swift action on Raghunath Bazaar renovation under Jammu Smart City project | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 13: Adv. Suresh Dogra, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), has raised concerns over the sluggish pace of renovation work in Raghunath Bazaar under the Jammu Smart City Project. Expressing dismay at the delays, Dogra highlighted the adverse impact on both the public and business community due to the prolonged construction. He emphasized that the lethargic progress is impeding daily life activities and economic prosperity in the area. Local residents and shopkeepers have voiced their distress, citing a significant downturn in business and difficulty in meeting their livelihood needs. They lamented the inconvenience caused by the ongoing construction, which hampers pedestrian movement and dissuades customers from visiting the area. In light of these grievances, Adv. Suresh Dogra urged the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, to intervene promptly. He called for the expeditious resolution of the issue, urging concerned departments to accelerate the renovation work in Raghunath Bazaar for the benefit of the local community and businesses. |
