BJP all set to celebrate PM Modi's 3rd term on June 4: Kavinder
6/3/2024 10:18:12 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 3: Expressing full confidence in the credibility of exit polls giving thumping majority to BJP, senior party leader and former deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said on one side Saffron party is preparing to celebrate PM Narendra Modi's third term and on the other the defeated Congress party is planning protests and finding alibis to go for catharsis.
In a statement issued to media persons, BJP stalwart leader said that people have voted in support of PM Modi with open hearts and that is the reason behind euphoria among the party cadre. He said that starting from June 4, it is the time for the party to celebrate the momentous victory of PM Modi as exit polls have made things clear even before the counting of votes. He said that record breaking voting percentage in J&K is also due to success of the Kashmir Policy brought in by the PM Modi and therefore the BJP has got people's support duly on its credible work and people-friendly outlook.
He said that Congress leadership has already started assessing the factors responsible for their bad performance as the party is planning nationwide protests. He said that it is also expected that the dynastic party may accuse BJP of wrongdoing but the people of the country know it well that BJP's victory is hard earned after doing wonders on ground be it abrogation of Article 370, teaching Pakistan a lesson of life, getting the people of Kashmir rid of terrorism and so many other achievements, which are known to one and all.
Kavinder said that even ECI has praised the BJP government for accomplishing the herculean task by bringing back people in Kashmir to the polling booths and setting new records of voting percentage.
Kavinder said that Congress holds every right to protest, but the reason should be genuine viz. their leadership failed to make connections with the people, and corruption being their top priority, which has created a wedge between the common man and the oldest political party of the country.
The senior BJP leader has welcomed the statement of Chief Election Commissioner of India with regard to holding of Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that BJP has conducted elections in J&K for 13 times including Panchayat Raj and Urban Local Bodies while the successive regimes had conducted the same only for 4 times in last more than 70 years, which speaks of the difference and how the saffron party has strengthened democracy at the grass roots level.
The former deputy Chief Minister appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the victory of BJP in grand style and join in the festivities that mark the historic third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that this victory is not just a win for the party, but a triumph of the people's will and their faith in the leadership of PM Modi.
Kavinder urged every supporter to participate enthusiastically in the celebrations, as it is a moment to acknowledge the progress and positive changes brought about by the BJP government. He expressed hope that the coming term will continue to bring prosperity, development, and peace to Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India.
