Early Times Report JAMMU, July 4: Ramisht College of Education in Basohli celebrated Van Mahotsav Week with great enthusiasm, engaging B.Ed. students from the 2nd semester in a series of environmental activities. The event was organized by the NSS (National Service Scheme) coordinator, marking the beginning of a week-long program. To kick off the celebration, the NSS Unit coordinator planted several trees on the college campus. Van Mahotsav is observed annually during the first week of July, and this year, the theme is "A Plant in the Name of Mother." The theme emphasizes the importance of nurturing plants just as a mother cares for her child, highlighting our responsibility to protect the environment. In a closing gesture, the college chairman, Sh. Rajinder Prashad Sharma, distributed saplings to the students, encouraging them to contribute to environmental conservation. |
