Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 6: A delegation from the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), led by Tarun Singla, Senior Vice President, met with Atal Dulloo, IAS, Chief Secretary, J&K, in the presence of Rajesh Jain, Secretary, and Rishi Kant Gupta, Treasurer, at his office chamber in Srinagar. During the meeting, Tarun Singla highlighted several pressing issues affecting the industrial sector that require immediate attention. Key issues discussed included the enhancement in budgetary allocation for turnover incentives, denial of GST-linked incentives for substantially expanded units, marketing support through purchase preference, removal of Edible Oil and Ground Nuts from the Negative List of SRO 63, creation of check posts at J&K entry points, introduction of mandi tax, and issues regarding the NCSS portal. In response to the concerns raised by BBIA, Atal Dulloo, IAS, Chief Secretary, J&K, assured the members that all necessary steps would be taken to address the various issues highlighted by the Senior Vice President of BBIA. |
