Kishtwar, Nov 9: Chenab Valley Power Projects Ltd. (CVPPL) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities and fulfilling its social responsibility by inaugurating the “Computed Radiography System for X-Ray” at the District Hospital Kishtwar. The system, which will greatly improve diagnostic capabilities, was formally inaugurated by Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, on 9th November 2024.
The handover ceremony was conducted by Shashi Kant Giri, Head of Project, Kwar Hydro Electric Project, under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainable Activity initiative of CVPPL. The event was attended by Dr. Rajinder Kumar, Chief Medical Officer of Kishtwar, Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, Medical Superintendent of DHK, and other key officers.
During the event, Rajesh Kumar Shavan and Shashi Kant Giri engaged in discussions about upcoming CSR activities and other developmental works planned for the region, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to the welfare of the local community.
