JAMMU, Nov 22: Jammu and Kashmir Police successfully solved a hit-and-run case in the Pounichak area, where a motorcyclist injured a pedestrian and fled the scene. On 14th November, Shilpy Gupta of Durga Nagar, Talab Tillo, suffered multiple injuries after being struck near Bohri by a speeding motorcyclist, Alok Kumar, 22, of Ladore, Marh. Instead of aiding the victim, the accused fled. Following an FIR, the Pounichak Police, led by IC PP Pounichak, utilized technical and human intelligence to identify and arrest the accused. The motorcycle involved, bearing registration number JK02BC 1776, was also seized. The case is under further investigation, and the public has lauded the swift police action. |
