Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: A 3-day multi-media exhibition focusing on different centrally sponsored schemes was inaugurated by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) at the Jhiri Mela in Marh. Resource persons from the Health Department, Dr. Pratishtha and Dr. Dalbir Singh, along with Anshu Malhotra from the Agriculture Department, spoke about the various centrally sponsored schemes benefiting their respective sectors. In his address, Dalbir Singh emphasized the importance of organizing such awareness programs regularly to inform the public, especially in rural border areas like Marh, about the benefits of these government schemes. He urged the audience to explore more about schemes related to higher education, agriculture, animal husbandry, and sheep husbandry to contribute to achieving the goal of a Viksit Bharat. Rajesh Sharma from the CBC highlighted the government's ongoing efforts to uplift the country's poor through various centrally sponsored initiatives. He spoke about pro-poor programs such as PM Awas Yojna, PM Jan Arogya Yojna, Ujjwala Yojna, PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna, Shishu Janani Suraksha Yojna and other government schemes that have transformed the nation. Dr. Pratishtha provided insights into health-related initiatives, highlighting schemes such as Rashtriya Bal Suraksha Karyakram (RBSK), Rashtriya Kishor Suraksha Karyakram (RKSK), Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY), Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojna (JSSY), and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY). Anshu Malhotra from the Agriculture Department spoke about programs like PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojna, KCC, Soil Health Cards, Apiculture, Vermi Compost, and other schemes benefiting farmers. GHSS Jhiri Marh Zone, along with faculty and students, Indira Memorial HSS Galwaday Chak, New Jyoti HSS Jaswan, MRLD HSS Burj Mandir, and officials from the Health, Agriculture, and Education departments, CBC J&K also attended the program. The event also included a drawing competition, an open quiz, seminars, and cultural performances, with participation from students of various schools. Theme-based cultural items were presented by artists from CBC J&K's registered troupe. |
