Early Times Report BEHROTE, Dec 19: A one-day awareness programme on promoting intergenerational bonding was organized at ST MARY'S CONVENT SCHOOL BEHROTE by the Human Organisation for Patronisation of Environment (HOPE), with support from the National Institute of Social Defence under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The event focused on fostering understanding, respect, and emotional support between senior citizens and younger generations. Distinguished speakers, including Mr. Minkle Kumar, Principal Kanev Badyal, Eng. Nadeem Mirza, Dr. Zaheer, Savita Sharma, and Mr. Suraj Bali, delivered impactful sessions on the importance of intergenerational harmony. Students, teachers, and senior citizens actively participated in discussions, sharing experiences and bridging the generational gap. To acknowledge the participants' enthusiasm, HOPE distributed prizes. The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the dignity of senior citizens and promote harmony, leaving a positive impact on all attendees. |
